About Susan

Hello!  

Thank you for visiting my website and taking the time to learn more about me and how I may support you.

I'm a board-certified holistic nurse practitioner and an integrative health and wellness nurse coach.  

Also, I'm a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance with additional training through the Center for Trauma and Embodiment as well as Little Flower Yoga.

I've completed additional education in areas of interest including healing touch and energy medicine, mindfulness, aromatherapy, the highly sensitive nervous system, and the long-term effects of trauma and chronic illness. 

Recently, I have more deeply explored the effect of ACE's (Adverse Childhood Experiences) on later-life health and well-being as I support those with past trauma and chronic pain. 

   

Here in my private practice, I offer the tools of mindfulness, energy medicine and yoga to facilitate compassionate self-care, healing and acceptance of all aspects of being: body, mind, heart and spirit. 

I also support those who have experienced ACE's to build resilience and heal. This support extends to those experiencing the challenges of motherhood who may also wish to break the thread of inter-generational trauma.  

My individual and small group coaching and yoga sessions are in a safe, supportive environment and include gentle, sensitive approaches to chronic pain and trauma for both adults and kids.  My vision is to support others, no matter how difficult their past, to flourish wherever they are planted.  I'm currently a teacher through Little Flower Yoga and look forward to completing my certification this spring.


As a childhood trauma survivor and highly sensitive person myself, I seek to live my life, one day at a time, in full bloom.  My home is in upstate New York where I enjoy spending time with my amazing husband and four flourishing young adults.  Also, I enjoy cooking, reading, journaling and writing, painting, being outdoors in nature, and all things to do with flowers. I regularly practice mindfulness, meditation, walking, and yoga as self-care tools.
